Venice' Birthday!!!

so on May 26, 2011 my super energetic, witty, smart, shy and loving daughter will have her 2nd birthday, still i don't have any plans yet for her birthday, a Jollibee party is on the list, another is a simple house party or maybe just a swimming party, since she likes it in the pool(ironic though she doesn't really like taking a bath.. haha). Now on the financial side of party, I still am on the verged of saving money for it at the same time spending money on some other things(wants) not necessities, also we'll be leaving the country soon and i still haven't bought some Euros, it is 62.30 now, then a little bit later(just right after i got my money for buying) it's going to be 62.70, crazy right. i don't know how much i'll spend outside the country, how much pasalubongs i'd buy, how many clothes for me and Venice'. sometimes having the luxury of having more than enough is really not so luxurious especially when you are consumed by the commodity. anyway, back to the story, so maybe a little bit of everything will do, and little more savings will help the party. I would like to give her a Jollibee party because i for one did not have one.. haha.. her first birthday party good, but not so great, got really drunk that time, had too much champagne and i don't know why i even decided to finish all 5 bottles of it, very irresponsible and immature of me. that part is the one i regret up to now, i don't know if most of the guest knew i was half drunk the whole time. this time i'll make it right, will just get tipsy.................            not!!!!!!!!!! lol.. reminds me of Clyde's impersonation of Borat. his impersonation was not the funny part, his effort to it was the funny one.. haha. May 26 will be another of many happy years with my daughter.(if you're wondering why am not mentioning the mom of my child, go figure! haha) i wish Venice a Happy Happy Birthday.. I always pray that may she be have fear of the Lord, that she'd be a model citizen, and have a happy life..

who wants to be relevant?

first of all the question is to broad.. so let me narrow it down.. who wants to be relevant to world, meaning one tweet can make or break someone or something, tons of fans at the same time haters, living like a celebrity that makes everything you do, say or look is magnified and lots more..
am now about to finish reading Francis Kong's "Only the Real Matters" it's an inspirational Christian book(YES am Christian c;). Reading the book made me realize that Money, Power and Fame can yes make you but most certainly DESTROY you. The book also speaks about having Christ in your life for you to be genuinely happy (debatable), complete (debatable), and storm proof (debatable). So going back to the topic in relation with the book I mentioned, if you want to be relevant, in what aspect would you want to be relevant? Money, fame or power? Next question is, knowing the trend(George Eastman, Elvis Presley, and Paul Getty) all of them having money, fame and power then committing suicide or just plain ruining their life, would you still want to be like them?
So now you might ask what if you are a Christian and you have all of the three elements, and also you are relevant to the world, would you be next to kin with those three men above? My answer base on my not so meticulous observation, no Christian figure is super relevant to the world, or even to a country. Here in the Philippines you may say that we have Bro. Eddie, Bro. Velarde and of course my favorite Bro. Ed Lapiz, but exactly how relevant are they? I don't think they can mass up to the level of Willie Revillame, Cris Aquino or even just one Tulfo men.
What makes the Born Again Christian off to most of the people or the masses? Why do people tend to be in another religion but do not follow the system or the people in the system, Carlos Celdran said that this question is childish, and bitter oh and naive, well, as what my parents thought me, if you think you can cook better, go then and cook it your self, if you all you'll do is protest and talk out loud about it, why don't just go to another chef? I know, my points are weak, but trust me, vocally I can some how defend it or relay it much better. haha.(challenges for debate would require beers and a dictionary for the Conyo's and Amboys). Again, i went off topic. tsktsk. I hope am not digging my own grave here. anyway, Relevance, do you really really want it? Can you handle it? And lastly Can you be Relevant by having Christ as your center? ( i think you can't{just a thought though}).

status/shoutOut/statement

well, often times i wonder if all of those who post status or give shoutouts or just plain telling a statement really reach their target person/audience.
i for one experienced not having a reaction or a feed back even after relating my concerns directly to the person i am dealing with, so how effective does a status/shoutOut/statement is?
yes, everyone that you allowed to have a glimpse of your golden idea will be able to read, but, is the S/S/S intended for them? yeah, it'll create a buzz for some time if it is really interesting or states a general truth or common interest, but will it be enough to lure the target person/audience?
some times, for me having the s/s/s is just a way of letting some steam off, not all the time you want to pour your anger, hatred, frustrations and all that stuff to some one or any one.
ok, i'm again out of the path to the point i want to make.. lol..
the question is, how do you tell someone or people something when really, they don't know how to respond or they are just plain insensitive w/ you concerns(this really goes both ways).
word of advice, if you want an immediate response, tag the person together with their friends, that way each friend will feel obligated to let the main person know you are making a point.. BITTER!!! haha

writter or just plain dreamer?

list of my problems at writing something:

1. Putting all my thoughts into writing.

2. My basic subject verb agreement.

3. usage of their/there, to/too, and some of their kinds, well all I know is those are homonyms.

4. I don't review what I type.

5. i think i have ADHD, so every time am writing something after a few sentences i forget the next lines.

6. i don't know how to focus on one reader that's why all that I right are like chopsuey(mixed vegs)

7. what i think is interesting would turn out boring after i put them into writing.

8. lastly, i don't want others to read my writing in front of me, because I don't really know how to accept criticism.

So now am trying to right every time i can, just to fulfill one of things that I failed to be good or even just be decent at.. 

Essential things in a Hospital Room(suite class)

here are, for me the essential things that should be free or available to a Hospital room.

1. Wi-Fi

2. Free Food(chips, water, cookies, and some other things for the guarding relative)

3. A 24 hour room service.

4. Wireless Head Phones for the TV.

5. High quality, if not Branded Toiletries.

last but not the least

6. dimming lights and separate switch for all the lights.

Yes! i know, it should like be a Hotel room, except it's a recovery Hotel room..

la union

Going to La Union, one fact that I now learn when going to the North of part of Luzon using SCTEX, you should take the Luisita Exit if it is still early, early is 2am-6am, because taking the last exit of the Tarlac route will just eat up your gas millage and time, considering the residential scene there, accidents can happen anytime. You’ll just take the last exit of the SCTEX route to Tarlac during the rush hour for you  not go thru the traffic of the Town proper.. We are now 12 people going to La Union and is expecting 8 more friends coming from Manila.. ama learn surfing later.. will take pictures..

Finally, after a not so long trip, we’re here in La Union, have a nice place to stay at, a descent view right off the shore.. most of us are too tired for surfing, but me, am psyched! Haha

Made my debut in surfin’, the first was the hardest then everything was easy all the way, really had a great time, plus.. had a bargain Rush Guard, ‘original billabong’ slightly used.. haha.. The price was a bargain, so weather it is fake or original it’s ok.. We surfed at Bacnotan because the waves in San Juan are wild, not very helpful for beginners, the is like a piece of paradise right just before a cement factory, greens and browns are perfectly mixed..

              Had our dinner at UrbizTondo, the food was decent (too hungry to be choosyJ). Tomorrow will be another story for of us, all the body aches and sun burns will sting, hangovers and early sea breeze, am loving the beach..

              Finally got a shower, I was soaked and sticky a while ago, the waves were so wild, riding was hard, even had myself close to a bleeding knee accident, again I am not me if I didn’t had myself close to dying, I was eaten alive by a very big wave..  we’ll be going home in a while.. just right before having a closer smell of home, we had a stopover at the Caltex Rosales(besides SM Rosales) where they sell Balot 24hours..

              Finally Home.. Lord thank you for the wonderful trip, new friends, new things that I learned and mostly, thank you for being such an amazing God, I cannot thank you enough for all the provisions, guidance and love that You're showering us. All i do is to glorify Your name..

first after a long time again

this will be the first again(technically not really the first) of weekend that am not with my daughter Venice, she's sick daw and has to be taken care of her mom(yes we are separated, never been married too), so no late night wake ups because of your bed mate is tumbling and crying after for milk, no night songs, stories and recitals of alphabets, numbers, shapes, color and sound of animals(not really sure if that's too much but am planning to expand her horizon with basic math.. haha) no wake ups thru a nose tickle and a very lovely smile, no bath's then sleep then shopping.. 

Surprisingly, i don't fancy going out anymore too, so home is and this blog is my only resort.. oh well, the Lord has something great for me tomorrow, and so i have to be ready and for it.. i wonder when will someone read this, knowing i won't even let anyone know about it.. haha.. soon i'll be writing about my project a 'Diskanso' bike(1950's) i had restored.. i'll tell you the details on my next entry.

ok, so am a frustrated writer, and it's just now that i have decided to blog, since i said that i need a journal who can actually reply on each entry i write, wah-lah.. this blog is born. basically i'll be blogging anything and everything that i want(since am not paid for this): Venice, my everyday life as a manager of our own retail outlet, sports, food, family, fashion?(confused hip-hop, upscale and out of budget for the complete or appropriate clothes.. lol), hobbies and yes.... PROCRASTINATION)


i hope i'll be able to write most of the time considering my responsibilities. with that in mind am already late for work.. ok.. so that's it, any addition to that will just be posted soon... real soon i hope:)
